PD is the Distance between two pupil centers. Usually, PD is mentioned in your prescription in mm (millimeters). This is mandatory to buy bifocals and progressive lenses. If you don't find PD in the prescription, ask your Optometrist or Optician to measure and fill it in your prescription.

Each prescription will have SPH ( Spherical), CYL (cylindrical), Axis, VA ( Visual acuity/vision), Dist ( distance power), Near ( Near power), ADD (Addition power for people above 40years).
